Welcome to Painfully Relatable
Welcometo Painfully Relatable:A community that gets it
If you have found your way, chances are you have experienced a day where your body had completely different plans than you did. Or you have watched someone go through this struggle.
Maybe you’ve had to cancel plans because of a flare-up. Maybe you’ve smiled and said “ I’m fine,” even though you were hurting. You’ve probably heard things like ‘you don’t look sick,’ or ‘have you tried drinking more water?’ more times than you can count.
If any of that sounds familiar, welcome. I am so glad you are here.
Why I created Painfully Relatable
Living with chronic pain can be incredibly isolating. It affects more than just our bodies - it changes our routines, relationships, careers, hobbies, and sometimes even the way we see ourselves
But something that I have learned is that laughter and connection can exist alongside the pain
Painfully Relatable was created to be a safe space where we can talk honestly about life with chronic pain without pretending everything is okay all the time. It's about finding a moment of joy, sharing stories that make us laugh, and reminding each other that we’re not walking this journey alone.
Who I am
I am a young woman who lives with fibromyalgia, a chronic pain disorder that affects every aspect of my life.
