About Us

Hi, friend!

I'm so excited you found us.

My name is Kalei, and I live with fibromyalgia. Like so many others living with chronic pain, I know what it feels like to have good days, hard days, and days where your body has completely different plans than you do.

I created Painfully Relatable because I wanted a place where people could feel understood—a place where we could share our stories, laugh through the hard moments, celebrate the little victories, and remind each other that we're never alone.

Living with chronic pain can be incredibly challenging and, at times, incredibly lonely. It can be easy to feel like no one truly understands what you're going through. My hope is that Painfully Relatable becomes a place where you feel welcomed, supported, and reminded that your experiences are valid.

Around here, we believe it's okay to rest. It's okay to cancel plans. It's okay to have hard days. We also believe that laughter can exist alongside pain, and that finding joy in the little moments can make even the toughest days feel a little brighter.

Whether you're living with chronic pain, caring for someone who is, or simply looking for a community that understands, I'm so happy you're here.

This is more than a podcast.

More than a blog.

More than a website.

It's a community built on kindness, encouragement, and connection.

So grab your favorite drink, get comfortable, and stay awhile.

Welcome to the Painfully Relatable family. 💛
